Dear Principal, Math Teachers, and Students,
On behalf of the Vietnamese American Aerospace Peer Association (VAAPA), we are delighted to invite students at your school to participate in our Fifth Annual MATHCOUNTS Competition, modeled after the national MATHCOUNTS framework. This event provides an excellent opportunity for students in grades 6-8 to engage in an in-person math competition alongside their peers.
Event Details:
Date: Saturday, April 25, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Check-in begins at 8:00 AM)
Location: Johnson Middle School Auditorium

We kindly ask that you promote this event among your students by announcing it in classes or sending an email notification to teachers and students. Students may participate as a 4-member team representing your school or as individual competitors grouped with students from other schools.
Prizes including cash awards, trophies, and medals will be presented to the top four teams. VAAPA is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering community service and academic excellence. Your support in encouraging student participation is vital to the success of this free event.
